CELEBRATE (FIRA) - Come celebrate a genuinely Swedish midsummer at På svenska, an adult Swedish language and culture immersion camp, at Hunt Hill Audubon Nature Sanctuary in Sarona, Wisconsin. Enjoy spending time with others who love Sweden, and everything Swedish, as much as you do.
STUDY (STUDERA) - Study many aspects of the Swedish language. We offer Swedish language learning for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced learners. Our teachers are either Swedish, or fluent Swedish language speakers. We will challenge you to use your brain in new ways, to discover the joy of learning a new language, and to be intensely involved in the culture you love. In addition to learning the Swedish language, you will also learn about Swedish history and politics, Swedish arts and philosophies, and Swedish current thoughts and trends. We also hope that you come prepared to share your Swedish experience with us.
PLAY (LEK) - Play with us as we explore all things Swedish. Challenge yourself to speak Swedish in front of a group, to participate in show and share, sing a Swedish song, do a Swedish dance, have an act in our talent show, and participate in our annual Midsummer Celebration games.
SPEND TIME IN NATURE (VAR UTE I NATUREN) - Enjoy a relaxing week at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary. Hunt Hill is a nature learning center dedicated to teaching us how to better get along in nature and how to preserve our natural resources. It is located on 500 acres of meadows, forests, bogs and glacial lakes. På svenska offers many opportunities to explore the pristine natural surroundings.
